KIDS COUNT Missouri
KIDS COUNT Missouri uses data to track the well-being of children throughout Missouri. By providing this information to policymakers and the public, CMC seeks to help a secure better future for Missouri's children by heightening awareness of children's issues within local communities and by promoting more effective responses to children's needs throughout the state.
KIDS COUNT a collaborative project of Citizens for Missouri's Children, the Children's Trust Fund, the University of Missouri's Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis, and more than 30 public and private organizations from across the state.
KIDS COUNT Missouri is funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which supports similar KIDS COUNT projects in all 50 states. The combined KIDS COUNT network is a powerful force to shape a new direction for America's children. The 2006 national KIDS COUNT Data Book is available from the Casey Foundation.
Additional funding in 2005 for KIDS COUNT in Missouri came from Health Care USA.
