- National Association of Child Advocates

- Fostering Results
- In June 2003, the Children and Family Research Center at the School of Social Work, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign launched a public education and outreach campaign called Fostering Results. The campaign will work at the national level and in selected states to highlight the need to address the federal financing mechanisms that favor foster care over other services and options for children and families and to improve court oversight of child welfare cases.

- Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocate Association (CASA)
- CASA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of abused and neglected children in Missouri. Local CASA programs recruit, screen, train, and supervise community volunteers that are assigned to an abuse or neglect case by a judge. During the life of the case, a CASA volunteer monitors the child's situation to make sure the child remains safe until permanency is achieved.
- Mothers Outraged at Molesters (M.O.M.s)
- M.O.M.s specializes in prevention and in aiding adult survivors and parents of children who have been victimized. The organization is based in Independence, Missouri.
